Submit to this PLOS Global Public Health call for papers to help expand the global knowledge on Diagnostics in Global Health. Submission deadline, December 31st 2022.

Diagnostics play a critical role in the delivery of equitable access to Universal Health Care, and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has underlined the urgency of available, accessible, affordable diagnostics to be deployed globally. PLOS Global Public Health is calling for submissions for a new Diagnostics in Global Health studies.

This call for papers aims to highlight the importance of all forms of diagnostics in the context of global health, including the innovation and deployment of point of care diagnostics; subsets of diagnostics related to infectious diseases, chronic diseases and injuries; policies related to and regulation of diagnostics; supply chain issues; and the affordability, accessibility, and availability of essential diagnostics.

Topics can include diagnostics in: infectious disease epidemiology, non-communicable diseases, injuries, outbreaks, surveillance; essential diagnostics; public health: health disparities.
